Longford boat ramp closure

The Northern Midlands Council advise that the boat ramp in Union Street Longford will be closed for urgent maintenance on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 December and from Monday 17 to Friday 21 December. Extension to Brandum Bay boat ramp at Great Lake

Work has commenced on extensions to the Brandum Bay boat ramp at Great Lake. Funded by MAST's Recreational Boating Fund the works include an additional 20 meters of dual lane concrete ramp, additional parking and upgrade of the access road. The ramp will be closed until Friday 14 December 2012.

Maintenance to the road into Lake Kay

Maintenance to Lake Kay road between Lake Botsford car park and Lake Kay car park has been completed. The last of the year's run of salmon but still plenty out there!

During the last week of November the IFS delivered 350 Atlantic salmon to Craigbourne Dam and 400 to Meadowbank Lake. These fish averaged 2.5 kg and were donated by Tassal.
