This week a 150 rainbow trout were transported from the Salmon Ponds and stocked into Lake Kara. The fish averaged around 1kg and should provide some good sport for anglers in the North West region. Navigation hazard cleared from Lake Echo middle ramp

The submerged logs obstructing the launching facility at Lake Echo middle boat ramp have now been cleared. Caution should still be exercised when launching and boating at Lake Echo as with elsewhere on inland waters.
