The lake level at Huntsman Lake has risen quickly over the past week on the back of significant rainfall.  As a result, the Inland Fisheries Service can advise that the boat ramp and jetty are again operational.

As one of the few inland waters in Tasmania open to fishing all year round, Huntsman Lake provides an outstanding option for winter fishing.

Highlights include tailing fish along the south western shore, and lure casting around the key inflows on the southern edge of the lake.
