The gate which closes off the vehicle access to the Nineteen Lagoons area of the Western Lakes is now (9 October 2013) open.

The navigation light at Arthurs Lake dam wall boat ramp has been temporarily removed. It will be upgraded and replaced later in the year.
Huntsman Lake reopened to public access
After a closure due to high water levels the lake is now reopened to public access.

With heavy rainfall events over the last weeks (last two weeks of September), the rivers in many catchments have risen markedly.
