Work has started on the new Little Pine Lagoon boat ramp. The car park area is being built up to improve the grade of the ramp and will stop the car park flooding at high water levels. The work will include a concrete ramp and multi-level timber jetty providing better access, safety and amenity for anglers. 

The work is due to be completed at the end of March 2024. The boat ramp will be closed to the public during construction.

An alternative launching site is available via the Little Pine Lagoon Road, in front of the shacks, approximately 500m to the north. Caution should be taken as the alternative ramp is suitable for 4WD vehicles and smaller boats.

The low water levels are providing good shore based fishing to tailing trout.
