Tracking for carp at Trout Weekend.

The program of events for Trout Weekend 2018 is set and ready to go. Over Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 May there will be something on offer for everyone.

See the wild brown trout spawning run, watch flare and inflatable life jacket demonstrations and use a radio tracker to locate a model carp. You get up close to a giant freshwater crayfish - the largest freshwater invertebrate in the world which lives only in Tasmania and watch (& taste!) a range of trout cooking and smoking demonstrations.

Our staff are there to answer your questions and show you what we’ve been doing over the last year.

And don’t forget the exhibitors who join us each year to show and sell their products.

See you at the IFS field station, Liawenee, yingina/Great Lake this weekend.
