Talbots Lagoon fish looking up

None

Inland Fisheries staff were excited to see well conditioned brown and rainbow trout taking duns on a recent visit to Talbots Lagoon. With the lagoon still spilling and water clarity excellent fish could be seen rising to duns and spinners across the lagoon. Fishing from the shore or from a kayak with dun patterns was rewarding anglers with solid brwons and fiesty young rainbows. A CDC parachute dun was the fly of choice. We recommend a visit to this world class fishery should be on every Tasmanian anglers bucket list. Download the fact sheet and follow all the appropriate protocols to maintain access to this superb fishery.
