Background

Turning off the Midlands Hwy onto the C527 and driving 20 km will bring you to a gate beyond which a track heads west south west. The track is approximately one and a half kilometres long and takes you into the first dam. Just further west is the second dam. Both storages are relatively small and are water supply for the Township of Oatlands. These dams hold good stocks of mostly brown trout. All methods are permitted but boating is not really practical due to the access track.
