Lake Lea is one of the most picturesque lakes in the State. It is situated in a shallow limestone valley near Cradle Mountain. The Vale River flows out of the lake and is also fed from sub-surface waters. The river also provides fishing for wild small but hardy rainbow trout

No motorised boats are permitted on Lake Lea.
