Background
One of the Hydro Tasmania storages on the River Forth and directly upstream from Lake Barrington. Home to a large population of small brown trout, all methods may be used here. Lake Cethana forms part of the Mersey-Forth hydro-electric scheme, the lakes deep waters are home to plump trout. You can launch your boat and spend the day fishing, or enjoy a picnic or barbecue on the shore.
Getting There
Access is from the road that comes off the C138 before the township of Lorinna.
