Lake Catagunya will be drawn down below its usual level this Sunday, 11 January 2026, to allow inspections of nearby Hydro Tasmania assets.

As a result, the Lake Catagunya boat ramp will be closed from 9:00am Sunday 11 January until 6:00pm Tuesday 13 January to ensure public safety and prevent damage to boats.

Hydro Tasmania apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
