Opening Weekend Option #5 - Bradys Chain of Lakes

Next in our opening weekend options series are the Bradys chain of lakes. At 651 m elevation the Bradys chain provides a better climate than other highlands lakes at this time of year.
Our stocking team have been busy, with 4,800 rainbow and 2,184 wild adult brown trout stocked into the system, with more stocking planned over the coming months.
All methods of angling are productive and there are many camping options around the chain with toilets provided at the Bradys Lake boat ramp and at Tungatinah Lagoon.
Hot spots include the major inflows to the system at the White Water and Dee Portal areas of Bradys Lake. The interconnecting canals also fish well when the water is flowing, as does Tungatinah Lagoon. For the fly anglers, the shallow margins on the eastern shore of Lake Binney often feature early season tailing fish.
There are also four tagged fish in the Bradys chain, worth $5,000 each to the lucky anglers that manage to catch them as part of our 2025-26 Tagged Trout Promotion.
