On Tuesday 12 August the IFS stocked over 4,000 brook trout into Lake Plimsoll, weighing around 500 grams each. 

Brook trout are renowned to be fickle at times and very exciting at others, and are one of the biggest challenges in Tasmania's trout fishery! 

If you have catching a brook trout on your fishing bucket list, now would be a great time to head over and have a crack!
