The Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) have advised that a key to gate that was recently installed at Clarence Lagoon can be obtained by contacting the Lake St Clair Field Centre on (03) 6289 1115.

This is welcome news as it will allow vehicle access for the purposes of launching and retrieving non-motorised boats and kayaks on Clarence Lagoon. 

Vehicle access will be conditional upon all PWS regulations being adhered to including:

• No campfires or firepots -  gas or liquid fuel stoves only.
• Taking all rubbish home with you.
• Vehicles using the existing track only - no driving off track.

Adherence to these rules will be vital in ensuring this access continues into the future.
