Willow Warriors Field Day - Saturday 28 March

Join the Willow Warriors and the Derwent Catchment Project for a hands-on community restoration day at Maydena, Saturday the 28th March, Junee road Maydena.  

This event is part of an ongoing project to restore a sensitive riverbank area and establish a 40 - metre native vegetation buffer along the waterway. Activities on the day will include native planting and removal of invasive pine seedlings, helping to repair the Tyenna River.  

No prior experience is needed—everyone is welcome to get involved and contribute to this important local project.

All tools and equipment will be provided, along with morning tea. Participants are encouraged to wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear, and to bring lunch and a water bottle (additional water will be available on site).
