Hydro Tasmania advises that to ensure public safety while works on the Tarraleah Scheme are undertaken, Butlers Gorge Road (from the Lyell Highway turn-off) will be closed 24/7 from Tuesday 27 January to the end of March. Mossy Marsh Dam, Clark Dam, the lookout and the boat ramp won’t be accessible during this period.  

The Lake King William camp ground also remains closed. 

No 1 Pond will be also closed to the public from 16 February to 16 March while Hydro Tasmania undertakes No.1 canal cleaning works.
