In Episode 1, Hobart angler Plinio Taurian shares his top tips for targeting sea-run brown trout in the River Derwent, offering valuable insights and practical advice for anglers looking to improve their success on the water.

Tassie Trout Chat is a new short-form video series featuring the latest trout fishing news, angling tips, fishery updates, and stories from around Tasmania. The series will also showcase the work of the Inland Fisheries Service (IFS), anglers, clubs, peak bodies, and partner organisations dedicated to protecting, managing and promoting Tasmania's trout fishery.

Whether you're an experienced angler or new to freshwater fishing, Tassie Trout Chat is all about sharing knowledge, celebrating our fishery, and strengthening connections within Tasmania's freshwater angling community.
