Following feedback from anglers about difficulty accessing the water along the Curries River Reservoir causeway, IFS completed works last week to install 6 fishing pads.

The new fishing pads are designed to improve access for those who had difficulty walking across the large rocks that were placed on the causeway in 2025 as part of bank stabilisation works. 

Curries River Reservoir is a very popular early season water that is due to be restocked over the winter to be primed for the start of the 2026-27 brown trout season.
