Hydro Tasmania is preparing for the next stage of environmental approvals for the proposed Tarraleah hydro scheme redevelopment. The Development Application (DA) and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) went on public exhibition from Monday, 13 April.

Anyone with an interest in the scheme’s future can have their say during the public exhibition period. Hydro Tasmania’s team will be out in the local community during April and May (see below) - to answer questions, hear from locals and help you understand how to make a submission.

Hydro is visiting local communities on the following dates:

• BOTHWELL: Castle Hotel (in front of Bookies Hall), Tuesday 21 April, 1 pm – 4 pm
• HAMILTON: Hamilton Inn (beside Café), Wednesday 22 April, 9 am –1 pm
• OUSE: IGA Supermarket (beside Post Office) Wednesday 29 April,11.30 am – 3.30 pm
• BRONTE PARK: (BBQ area beside store) Thursday 30 April,10.00 am –2.00 pm
• WAYATINAH: Wayatinah Tavern (dining area) Friday 1 May, 5 pm -7 pm
