Taswater have advised of some anglers access site closures at Pet Reservoir commencing on Monday 22 September.

Works are about to commence to construct a new spillway at the northern end of the reservoir. Access for anglers will not be permitted to the northern end of the dam from the access road that crosses the train lines, around to the eastern end of the dam wall. This closure will commence on Monday 22 September and will run until the project is completed in late 2027. 

In addition, the eastern access off Circular Road will be closed to anglers between Monday 22 and Friday 26 September. This closure is to facilitate heavy machinery completing earth works at the site through the week. Access to this area of the dam will return to normal as of 5:00 pm on Friday 26 September.
