Hydro Tasmania has advised that Reece Dam will be closed to all traffic on Wednesday 7 May, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, to allow essential survey work to be undertaken.

• Pieman Road will remain open on the Tullah side of the dam.
• Heemskirk Road will remain open on the Zeehan side of the dam.
• However, there will be no through access across Reece Dam:
  • No access to Zeehan from Tullah via Pieman Road.
  • No access to Pieman Road from Zeehan via Heemskirk Road.

Note:
Emergency services and essential personnel will maintain access under controlled conditions.
