Due to the forecast of unfavourable weather conditions, this work has been rescheduled to take place on 28 May. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the change.

Hydro Tasmania has advised that Reece Dam will be closed to all traffic on Wednesday 28 May, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, to allow essential survey work to be undertaken.

• Pieman Road will remain open on the Tullah side of the dam.
• Heemskirk Road will remain open on the Zeehan side of the dam.
• However, there will be no through access across Reece Dam:
  • No access to Zeehan from Tullah via Pieman Road.
  • No access to Pieman Road from Zeehan via Heemskirk Road.

Note:
Emergency services and essential personnel will maintain access under controlled conditions.
