Arthurs Lake annual weigh and measure has begun

None

The annual weigh and measure of 100 male and 100 female trout from each of the Arthurs Lake fish traps has begun.  From random samples in each trap, early signs suggest that fish numbers in the lake are healthy with the average weight and length slightly down on 2022. The largest fish weighed and measured in each trap to date are:

Hydro Creek:  Length, 490mm - weight, 1,150g

Scotch Bobs Creek:  Length, 505mm - weight, 1,120g

Tumbledown Creek:  Length, 496mm - weight, 1,320g

Once the weigh and measure has been completed, the Central Highlands fish trap report will be compiled and posted on our website for viewing.
