High water levels may block Julian/Pillans lakes access

If you're planning a fishing trip to Lake Augusta, high water levels are expected from 15 January to 11 February, which may temporarily block access to the Julian and Pillans Lakes area. Check the lake level at https://bit.ly/3nlDv7g and be advised that the Pillans Lake Track may be inundated if Lake Augusta's level is at or higher than 2.62 'metres from full'. Lake Augusta is not expected to spill unless rainfall is much higher than usual, so access to the general Nineteen Lagoons area via Lake Augusta Road should be okay, but - as always - please check the weather and stay safe
