A notice from Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania

Bridges on the Brushy Lagoon Road near Westbury that were damaged by the flood event of 2016 are set to be replaced. In order for the new, permanent bridges to be installed, access to the Brushy Lagoon Road will be closed from 27 February 2017 to 27 March 2017, inclusive.

Once the bridge works are completed, 7 km of the access road will also be graded and re-sheeted, which is expected to take about four weeks. The road works will begin immediately after the bridge works and will NOT require Brushy Lagoon Road to be closed.
