Funding for community based projects.

Do you know of a great community group looking for some help to deliver a fantastic project?

In addition to the range of ways we contribute to the community, Hydro Tasmania is offering six $5,000 grants to not-for-profit (NFP) community organisations based in Tasmania.

The purpose of these grants is to help fund projects that add value to communities in Tasmania and provide a benefit to the people who live there. These grants will showcase grassroots organisations and volunteers working hard in their community and support them to achieve great outcomes.

Applications for the Community Grant Program open on 8 February 2017 and close at 5:00 pm 31 March 2017. Post the closing date the submissions will be reviewed by a panel of Hydro Tasmania personnel and the grants will be awarded in July. For more information and to apply visit the Community Grant Program page on our website.

Please talk about our community grants with your networks and encourage the NFPs in your community to apply.
