The South gets salmon for winter

None

Yesterday (24 May 2012) Craigbourne Dam got a much needed replenishment of Atlantic salmon. Nearly 350 salmon were stocked into Craigbourne with the fish being donated by Tassal. The fish were all good sized with 190 being 3 kg average and 150 averaging 5 kg but ranging to over 8 kg. Please remember that there is a bag limit of five fish with only two permitted to be taken over 600 mm.
