Most inland waters close but there are still opportunities to fish through winter.

Most brown trout waters close at 11.59 pm on Sunday 28 April 2024.  A number of inland waters around Tasmania are still open. Refer to the Tasmanian Inland Fishing Code 2023-24 (ifs.tas.gov.au) or go to the Infish app 2.0 to see where you can fish through autumn and into winter.
