Background

Lake Isandula is a small water supply dam on the West Gawler River. Steep forested banks cover most of the shoreline. Foot access only – no boating is permitted. There are ample opportunities for lure casting and set rod bait fishing. Calm, warm days can provide options for the fly fisher particularly on the flats around the southern shore.

Getting There

Lake Isandula is 12km south of Ulverstone on Isandula Road C124.
