The current level of Great Lake means that majority of boat ramps will soon be unserviceable leaving Boundary Bay the as the only safe location for the launch and retrieve of all but the smallest of boats. When the level drops below 17 m FSL only the Boundary Bay ramp is useable. With low water levels there is an increasing likelihood that previously submerged hazards will now be exposed or close to the water surface. Anglers should exercise caution if they are unfamiliar with waters at the current low levels.
