Road maintenance at Fisheries Lane, Brumbys Creek
The condition of the vehicle track at Fisheries Lane, Brumbys Creek has deteriorated significantly over recent weeks. The Service is waiting for a period of dry weather before commencing maintenance works in conjunction with the Northern Midlands Council.
The Service has received a number of reports from concerned anglers about the condition of the vehicle track at Fisheries Lane, Brumbys Creek, which is extremely boggy.
Work on the track was undertaken prior to last season when a section was re-sheeted and the drainage improved. However, other sections of the track have deteriorated further and serious maintenance work is now required.
The Service will work with the Northern Midlands Council to repair and re-grade the road but is waiting for a period of improved weather to enable the road surface to dry out before commencing the works.
