Anglers are reminded to beware of navigation hazards whilst boating at Arthurs Lake this Spring. This warning is also extended to other lakes, including Great Lake, where anglers have reported a significant amount of floating debris.

Anglers are reminded to beware of navigation hazards whilst boating at Arthurs Lake this Spring. This warning is also extended to other lakes, including Great Lake, where anglers have reported a significant amount of floating debris.

The attached photo shows the submerged sign at Pumphouse Bay boat ramp at Arthurs Lake. The Service has marked the sign with a buoy as it's situated where anglers will be launching boats.

Also, new 5 knot speed limit signs have been installed at Jonah Bay and anglers are reminded to take care and stick to boating speed limits.
