Algal Bloom at Craigbourne Dam not Toxic

A recent algal bloom at Craigbourne dam has been tested for toxicity and been shown to be non toxic at this stage. Algae blooms are common at Craigbourne but generally when the water is low. The current bloom was shown to contain blue-green algae but was not toxic. Anglers will be informed if the situation changes but at this stage it is still safe to fish there.
