The fish donated from Tassal are up to 8 kg. The average size of the 530 fish stocked is approximatly 2.5 kg with a some between 5 and 8 kg. Brushy Lagoon is likely to get some salmon next week from Petuna Aquaculture. IFS staff stationed at Lake Crescent were able to respond quickly to the emergency, joining the Police search using an IFS boat fully equipped with search and rescue equipment. Areas targeted for the clean up effort were popular fishing locations including Lake Binney, Tungatinah Lagoon, Arthurs Lake, Cluny Lagoon, Lake Repulse, Lake Meadowbank, Wayatinah Lagoon and Lake Catagunyah.


IFS would like to encourage all anglers to get involved in CUA day on Sunday 4 March and clean up their favourite fishing spot.
