The Fishcare Volunteer Program is one of the major programs run by Fishcare and jointly funded by the National Fisheries Action Program and the Recreational Fishery Trust Fund. The Service receives assistance from Angling clubs and associations in regard to on-ground works, such as fencing, building, cleaning and stocking. Fishcare volunteers
The Fishcare Volunteer Program is one of the major programs run by Fishcare and jointly funded by the National Fisheries Action Program and the Recreational Fishery Trust Fund. Tasmanian Fishcare volunteers donate their time and effort to ensure marine and freshwater fishers are aware of the regulations regarding recreational fishing in Tasmania. The volunteers are involved with research, creel surveys and education in primary and secondary schools.
