There are many opportunities for anglers to be involved in the management of the fishery. These range from being an active member of an angling club or association to giving your personal feedback on proposed fishery management plans. The Service welcomes your feedback on its range of products and services, so that they can be designed to better suit your needs.

Every angler has a responsibility to care for the fishery, to be aware of their own impact, and to help protect Tasmanian inland waters from invasion by pests and diseases. Reporting illegal fishing activities immediately to the Service or other authorities, can be vital.
